Hobby Masters

The role of the Hobby Master is to train you for fishing and provides you with fishing instructions and a basic fishing pole. There are at the moment four Hobby Masters; one for each of hobbit, man, elf and dwarf.

Estmar Bolger Estmar Bolger is the hobbit Hobby Master. He can be found at the Bird and Baby Inn in Michel Delving, the Shire (33.1 S, 75.5 W). He grants the quest "One Fish, Two Fish", the objective is simply to find his sister Misty Bolger He will also sell you a Basic Fishing Pole

Haldúr Haldúr is the elf Hobby Master. He can be found at the Last Homely House in Rivendell, the Trollshaws (29.5 S, 3.4 W). He grants the quest "Hook, Line and Sinker", the objective is simply to find Garbet He will also sell you a Basic Fishing Pole

Henry Oakeshott Henry Oakeshott is the human Hobby Master. He can be found at Scholars' Stair Archives in Bree, Bree-Land (30.4 S, 51.7 W) He grants the quest "Teach a Man to Fish", the objective is simply to find Joy Bloomer He will also sell you a Basic Fishing Pole

Refkell Refkell is the dwarven Hobby Master. He can be found at Thorin's Hall in Thorin's Hall, Ered Luin (13.3 S, 102.3 W) He grants the quest "Fish-Tales", the objective is simply to find Nokki He will also sell you a Basic Fishing Pole

Fishing Suppliers

If you need bait you will have to go to the fishing suppliers of lotro. They will sell you what you need.

Misty Bolger The hobbit Fishing supplier can be found at Northern edge of Bywater in the Shire (31.2 S, 70.0 W) She sells bait. She will also complete the quest "One Fish, Two Fish" granted by Estmar Bolger.

Joy Bloomer The human Fishing supplier can be found besides Little Staddlemere in Staddle, Bree-Land (31.2 S, 49.9 W) She sells bait. She will also complete the quest "Teach a Man to Fish" granted by Henry Oakeshott.

Nokki The dwarven Fishing supplier can be found south of Noglond in Ered Luin (19.7 S, 100.4 W) He sells bait. He will also complete the quest "Fish-Tales" granted by Refkell.

Garbert The human Fishing supplier can be found at Garbert's Cottage, Tal Bruinen in the Trollshaws (38.2 S, 14.5 W) He sells bait. He will also complete the quest "Hook, Line and Sinker" granted by Haldúr. It should be noted that while Garbert also grants other quests he is not named: Fishing Supplier. Also he bears a ring as other quest givers, and not a vendor icon. In order to browse his shop you must be "using" Garbert.
